Since its incorporation in 1967, Nippon Paint Malaysia has become an important producer in a wide range of paint and chemicals for decorative, architectural, marine, automotive refinish, industrial and wood applications. The company also holds a strong position in the transportation industry by being the only manufacturer to provide a complete paint system to the Malaysian automotive sector, as well the major supplier to the motorcycle makers. While four manufacturing plants - three in Peninsula Malaysia and one in East Malaysia, ensure that supply is up to speed with market demand, the marketing function is undertaken by Paint Marketing Company. Nippon Paint is the only paint manufacturer with a network of 15 fully operational depots in the major towns of Malaysia to serve the customers directly.
