Remove as much
furniture as possible. |

Cover the
rest of the other surfaces, for example, with newspapers or a plastic sheet. |

Protect light switches,
electrical sockets, window frames and woodwork with strips of
masking tape. |

Remove flaking and unstable
paint film with a scraper. Then sand the surface for a
smooth finish. Dust off. |
| 5) |
Patch up cracks or uneven surfaces with appropriate filler. When filler is dry, sand
the filler with sandpaper for a smooth finish. Dust off. |
| 6) |
Wash or clean thoroughly the surfaces to be painted with water. Everything must be
allowed to dry thoroughly prior to painting. |
Always remember - before painting, your surfaces must be clean, grease-free and thoroughly
dry. You may paint over an existing surface is the old paint is intact and not peeling.
