HOW DO I PAINT?

1) Sequence of painting a room: Start with the ceiling. Then paint the walls. Next the woodwork around doors and windows; then cornices and finally skirting. This way, paint splashing from the ceiling doesn't ruin other painted areas.
2) Paint the difficult areas first - like edges and corners.
3) Either using a brush or roller, apply the paint in overlapping strokes. Keep your strokes continuous as you work on an area. You should also overlap your strokes when moving from area to area.
4) You may paint in up-down or left-to-right strokes depending on which is more convenient. Gently and lightly finish off in an up-down stroke if the area allows for it.
5) Always paint two or more coats of paint. Complete first coat, let it dry. Then paint the second coat. Please refer to the can as to how much time is required for the first coat to dry.
