| It is important
that you observe the following points if you're considering do-it-yourself painting. |
| Paints should always be kept from children. |
| Store remaining paint in a cool, dry ventilated place. |
| In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice
if pain persists. |
| On contact with skin, wipe immediately with a cloth and wash with plenty of water and soap. |
| Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. |
| Wipe away paint spills around the rims of the paint container and lid. |
| Close lids of paint cans
tightly after use. Unused paint must not be left uncovered. |
| Use a garbage bag for all paint or other items you wish to dispose of. Make sure it is
placed in a bin which is secure. |
| Do not throw paint into the drains around your home. |
Make sure there is adequate ventilation when you are painting. If you can smell vapours,
open doors and windows.
