No. Hacking or removing the existing tiles is generally not required. Ensure the tile surface is clean, sound and properly prepared before applying the recommended primer, followed by the FloorArtz Floating Quartz system.
Substrate moisture checking is required, particularly for concrete floors at ground-floor or basement areas where moisture may be present.
FloorArtz Floating Quartz should only be applied when the substrate moisture content is below 4%. If the moisture content is above 4%, please contact the Nippon Paint Customer Care team for further assessment and professional advice on the appropriate flooring system.

For Exterior Applications
Application of Nippon Paint PU Recoatable Clear Finish (Gloss) is required to provide additional UV resistance and protection for the FloorArtz Floating Quartz system.

When applying PU Recoatable Clear Finish (Gloss), 10% dilution with PU Recoatable Thinner is recommended.
